Vale Mioto respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what happens when you visit this website or use the contact/notify form.
What we don’t do
We don’t use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking or advertising script. We don’t build visitor profiles, we don’t sell or share data with advertisers, and we don’t use cookies to track you across the web. This site is not set up to collect more than the minimum needed to run it.
What we do collect
If you leave your email address through the “notify me” form on the Retreats page, we store it only to let you know when a new retreat is announced. It is not shared with anyone else and not used for anything beyond that purpose. If you contact us directly at hello@valemioto.com, that email exchange is handled the same way any private correspondence would be — kept only as long as needed to answer you.
Website statistics
To understand roughly how many people visit the site and which pages are useful, we rely on our hosting provider’s own server logs and on Google Search Console (which shows how the site performs in Google Search results) — not on tracking scripts running in your browser.
Fonts
This site uses Google Fonts (Readex Pro and Cormorant Garamond), loaded directly from Google’s servers for performance reasons. Loading a font this way means your browser makes a request to Google, which can see your IP address, in the same way it would for any external resource. Google’s own privacy policy applies to that request.
Cookies
We don’t set marketing or tracking cookies. The software running this site may set a small technical cookie only if you use the notify-me form — never for tracking purposes.
Your rights
You can ask at any time what data we hold about you (typically just an email address, if you signed up for retreat notifications) and ask us to delete it. Just email hello@valemioto.com.
